The first couple of steps we invite you to take with us starting first thing in the morning is a butt kicking breakfast. To give you a small insight on what’s up to come on this blog check out one of our favourite breakfast recipes below. Enjoy & bom apetite!
Frozen Raspberry Smoothie
For the smoothie
1 cup frozen raspberries
1 frozen banana
1/2 avocado
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon peanut butter
1 teaspoon maple syrup
Toppings
A handful of blueberries
1 tablespoon of sunflower seeds
1 tablespoon of pumpkin seeds
1 tablespoon of flaked coconut
Just toss all the ingredients for the smoothie in the food processor and mix until smooth.
Sprinkle your favourite toppings on top and enjoy!
Tips
Frozen berries are way cheaper than fresh ones and add an extra texture to the smoothie.
We usually freeze all the bananas that are getting a bit too soft and they are perfect for this type of smoothies (or banana bread). Just remove the skin, slice them and put them in a freezing bag (which you can wash and re-use = zero waste!).
The dried coconut flakes taste even better if you roast them slightly in a pan until they begin to slightly brown (1-2 minutes).
