Dear reader, I feel very honored that you’re interested in me and especially in this blog.

Originally I am from the region around Stuttgart in the South of Germany. I was born in the year 1989 when the German wall got torn down. So a very great year from an historical point of view. I am an Engineer and working as a software developer in the automotive industry in Stuttgart in the field of autonomous driving.

Besides my geeky tech habits (this is how Anita would describe it), I am very passionate about sports and a healthy lifestyle. I work out at least three times a week, doing Krav Maga, cycling and home workouts with a kettlebell. What I currently love the most is taking the bike to work. Feels just great passing by the daily traffic jam, commuting without spending any kind of earths’ resources and working out at the same time. If you haven’t tried it yet, you should definitely give it a go.

Along with sports goes nutrition. There is no way doing one without the other. This was my entrance card to world of healthy eating. I believe that it is very important for us as a society to become more conscious about what and how we eat. What I am trying to achieve with this blog is not only that we become healthier as human beings through food, but also reducing the negative impact on our planet doing so. I strongly believe that if everybody modifies his/her food habits just a little we can do great things together and make our planet a better place for each and every one.

The base of my way of eating roots to the latest scientific research in the fields of medicine and nutrition. Due to my engineering background I am a very fact based decision maker and therefore all the information and advises you will find on this blog will be well investigated and linked with the proper sources.
